Please note there is a registration fee of $48.50 that also covers insurance. Fees are due in week 2 of each term. Late fees apply. Multiple class discounts are only valid until due date of the invoice. Once the invoice is overdue, all discounts are revoked.

ADDITIONAL COSTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

Term fees are due at the end of week 2 (except for Term 1 – due at the end of week 3).

Additional costs you may incur are costume hire fees and performance ticket purchases for the end-of-year concert. However, this activity is not compulsory for students.

TERM DATES

BBDS terms run on an 8 - 11 week term duration and fees are charged by the term, not weekly. We do not operate on public holidays but we do operate on pupil free days. If your child should wish to make up a class due to sickness or public holidays they are able to join another class of a similar level to make up that week only.

CLASS FORMAT

Throughout the year, certain events will occur:

TERM 1 & 2

During term 1 and 2, we work on dance technique.

TERM 2 & 3

Performance groups and Eisteddfod solo works will be performing in local Eisteddfods and performances, as well as preparing for our ATOD examinations.

TERM 4

Our end-of-year concert will be held in late November or early December. This is a great evening where you will get to see the school at its best, with the wonderful dances the students have been working towards all year. It’s a very exciting event with lights, cameras, make up, costumes and "big smiles".

We have three full cast rehearsals on the three Saturdays preceding the concert. The end-of-year concert is a great opportunity for students to perform on a proper stage and shine like the stars they all are!
